Merry Christmas!!

今日はクリスマスですね。
なぜか日本では、クリスマスイブが重要視されていて
25日になると、すっかりクリスマスも終わったような雰囲気に
なってしまいますが、欧米では25日こそがクリスマスです。

今年も元インストラクターのPhilipよりお便りが来ました。

静岡校で５年ほどクラスを担当していましたが
もう帰国してからの方が長くなってしまいました。
以前から通われている方は、きっと覚えていますよね？

How have you been?
It’s been forever since we last saw each other
but it is great to hear from you once a year.
Yuriko, Emma and I had a great year together.
After being a part for more than a year
(as you might remember, due to the clipped tail of our dog
and the hassle to legally enter Switzerland with such a dog)
it has been wonderful to be together again.

Of course we have not been able to travel as extensively
as we used to due to our dog but none the less we took
a few trips around the countryside of Switzerland by car.

Now the weather is bitter cold and we have quite a lot of snow.
Hope all is well with you and that you had a wonderful year as well.
